On February 8, 2006 Helsinki Water and St. Petersburg Water Utility signed the cooperation program for the year 2006. This is the eleventh and, at the same time, the last cooperation agreement of this kind. For instance, the cooperation for the present year will include the development of key performance indicators comparison and reporting and also technical support for the Southwest and Central wastewater treatment plants in St. Petersburg. For many years in the development projects on water supply and sewerage services in St. Petersburg has already cooperated Helsinki Water. In the year 1995 was signed the first bilateral cooperation agreement between Helsinki Water and St. Petersburg Water Utility.
