During Finland's Presidency of the EU The Confederation of Finnish Industries (EK) will be arranging the tenth Asia-Europe Business Forum. In Helsinki on September 10-11, 2006 AEBF10 will be held in connection with the ASEM6 summit. AEBF10 will be a meeting of corporate leaders that will give the ASEM process business life's recommendations for investment between Europe and Asia and the promotion of trade. The responsibility primarily of a steering committee and core group comprising representatives of business life in the member countries will be the contents of the forum. EK, as organizer of the forum, will have an opportunity to affect its profile and the themes to be dealt with. And the forum's programme will last for two days. It will consist of plenary sessions with high-level guest speakers and working groups under the headings Trade, Financial Services, ICT, Investment and Infrastructure.
