At the Helsinki-Vantaa airport in the early hours of Thursday 20 July 2006 arrived a group of Finns evacuated from Lebanon. The Finnair flight, arriving from the Cypriot town of Paphos, is carried 18 Finns. And this 18 Finns had been brought to Cyprus by ship from Beirut on Wednesday 19 July 2006. And the legation counselor - Rolf Johansson - told the Finnish News Agency (STT) that some of the Finns permanently residing in Lebanon had chosen not to continue their journey from Cyprus to Finland.
